We have three different methods for guest booking on DelegateManager:
One of our core registration questions, Plus Guest, when enabled, simply toggles whether or not the delegate would like to bring a guest. This method doesn't capture any guest information, but rather adds a plus one to the registration. It adds a generic 'guest account' to the booking under the delegate's name. This is counted under the capacity.
This method is incorporated onto the confirmation screen and only asks the delegate once they have registered. The delegate is asked to contribute the guest details and the system will add the guest to the capacity. However, this method is not supported by on-site check in.
This method is incorporated onto the confirmation screen and only asks the delegate once they have registered. The delegate is taken to a form that allows them to contribute the guest details and even body content for the invite email sent to the guest. This method doesn't make any booking under the delegate, but puts the decision to attend to the guest, who is sent an invite email personally from the delegate. The delegate is only permitted to send one invite as this generates a temporary verification code tied to the delegate until their guest registers themselves.
If you require guest attendance at an event, please choose which method is the best fit for your requirements.
If you require assistance with enabling any of these methods, please contact our support team.
